Financial Literacy
At Olive Branch Ministries, we strive to meet people’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs so that they may transition out of living in cycles of poverty and crisis. One of the ways we do this is through financial literacy with families and individuals in one of the poorest regions of the United States to build sustainable budgets for their households. We partner with local schools, organizations, housing authorities, churches and other community partners and provide workshops on such subjects as Budget and Credit, Predatory Lending, Homeownership, & Identity Theft. Our goal is for low-income persons to become self-sufficient in managing their finances so they may be freed from their debts and build more stable futures for their families.
